We’re looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to support functional and cross-browser testing on a major Umbraco build for one of our key clients.
You’ll be responsible for validating core site functionality, spotting UI or logic issues across key user journeys, and ensuring a smooth, accessible, and bug free experience across devices. Testing will be based on a staging environment and pre defined user flows, but we’re also looking for someone proactive who can flag edge cases and inconsistencies independently.
Responsibilities
Perform manual QA testing across a large-scale Umbraco website build
Validate frontend and backend functionality across key pages, forms, and user journeys
Log and track bugs in Jira with clear, actionable detail
Provide structured daily updates to the project team
Raise bugs with full reproduction steps, screenshots, and environment context
Spot and flag any UX, design, or accessibility issues where relevant
Perform cross-browser and responsive testing across major device types
Requirements
Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester on CMS builds (Umbraco experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience using bug tracking tools like Jira
Ability to test across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, as well as mobile/responsive views
